Recipe: Pickled Red Onion
Ingredients
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups white vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/8 cup salt
Instructions
Bring water and finger to a boil in a small pot. Add sugar and salt. Dissolve. Place sliced onion in a bowl and over with hot water and vinegar mixture. Make sure all the onion is covered. Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
