What to expect...
This is just a wee introduction to the different sections of this blog.
I studied away from home at the University of Edinburgh for three years and had to quickly get used to cooking for myself while not boring my taste buds. Under the 'Edinburgh' tab you'll find posts about my cooking experiences in Edinburgh, yummy places to eat, markets, and dinners I've had with friends, among other things.
Although I'm not a huge fan of sweets, baking has always been one of my favorite past times. All of my baking materials are in San Francisco, so unfortunately I don't get around to it as much as I like, but I try my best. 'Mis Pastelitos' is all about my pastry projects and consists mostly of photo galleries.
I love traveling and eating my way through the places I visit. I'll share all of my most fascinating experiences under 'Around the World'. I will also share any international recipes I've learned here.
If I'm not cooking or baking I'm most likely reading. Food in literature is captivating and I've always been tempted to recreate and develop recipes for different meals I've encountered. In 'Literary Nourishment' I'll try to explore this to the best of my abilities. Let me know if you have any suggestions!
'Thermomix' is quite self explanatory. In this section you'll find my experiences with this product.
I hope this little intro is helpful!
